Angela Gilfillan, Executive Director

Wisconsin Institute of Urology | Neenah, WI

Angela holds over twenty years of management level experience with most of that time spent in health care administration. She holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management, a CMPE certification from American College of Medical Practice Executives, and recently achieved the CASC certification for ambulatory surgery center management.

During her previous tenure with Bend Urology Associates, Angela was instrumental in the expansion and growth of the practice, assisting in the new construction of a surgery center, facilitating physician buy-outs, and stabilizing the practice for anticipated changes in management and increases in staff.

Currently, she is on the Advisory Board for education for the Practice Management division of the American Urologic Association and on the Advisory Panel for the Urology Care Foundation.

Angela has been with the Wisconsin Institute of Urology, SC since May of 2013. Angela was instrumental in the design and smooth completion of the recently completed 34,000 sq ft building project. She supervised the relationship with the banking partners, stayed within budget, and ensured a timely completion.

Scott Dunitz, MD, Managing Partner

Tulsa Bone & Joint | Tulsa, OK

Dr. Scott Dunitz is the Managing Partner for Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates, a 31 physician-owned musculoskeletal group. He attended Mayo Clinic for his Orthopedic training and has focused his 31 years of practice on the treatment of Adult Reconstructive Medicine.

He has been active in multiple organizations and remains on the board of a physician-owned medical malpractice insurance company. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Oklahoma State Orthopedic Society, and Tulsa County Medical Society.

Dr. Dunitz has overseen numerous building projects as Tulsa Bone & Joint has grown, starting with rental of office space to a 50,000 square-foot building and now finishing the phase of a 137,000 square-foot building. 

BRuce Cohen, MD, CEO

OrthoCarolina | Charlotte, NC

Dr. Bruce Cohen has practiced as an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon for over 20 years and has been with OrthoCarolina since its founding in 2005. He has served in numerous leadership capacities at OrthoCarolina, including vice chairman of the Board of Directors and chair of the Operations Committee, helping OrthoCarolina establish itself as a nationally-recognized model for patient success and value-based care. Dr. Cohen has continually lead the practice in innovations and education milestones, acting as principal investigator in numerous active research projects throughout the OrthoCarolina Research Institute. His experience as a practicing physician and in organizational leadership positions him well to guide OrthoCarolina to excel in exceptional patient care and practice management in his current role as CEO.

Greg Warren, Managing Partner

CMAC Partners | Winter Park, FL

Greg Warren is the Founder and Managing Partner for Capital Markets Access Company (CMAC Partners).

Greg has more than thirty years of executive and financial leadership experience. He is responsible for the operations and strategic development of CMAC.

He was previously the president and CEO of Magna Corp Metals, a worldwide steel distributor. He also previously had a leadership role in Amerifund. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and is also a former member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organization).

Ethnie Jones, MD

Virginia Eye Institute | Richmond, VA

Ethnie S. Jones, M.D. specializes in general ophthalmology. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Jones received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her residency in ophthalmology and an internship in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology. Her husband is an orthopedic surgeon with OrthoVirginia. 

Some of her professional associations include Membership of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Medical Society of Virginia, and the Richmond Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Jones joined the CPOMP Board with a significant degree of interest in working with CPOMP as both she and her husband have had real estate interest within their respective practices. 

Jeff Dew, CEO

Gastrointestinal Associates P.C. | Knoxville, TN

Jeff Dew received his undergraduate degree at Tennessee Tech and is a licensed CPA (Inactive) in Tennessee.  Jeff received his Master or Arts in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has been in healthcare for 35 years, 32 of those years have been in progressive areas of leadership.  Jeff served as the Financial Director for a large regional homecare firm where he was involved in a business turnaround. Starting in 1999, first as Financial Director and then as CEO, he led the group in creating efficiencies in their billing offices, bringing the practice into their first EMR and then into a their current EMR.  He also developed the infusion therapy, pathology, and anesthesia programs of the organization. In 2016 Jeff oversaw construction of the newest space a 51,000 square foot office and six room ASC which replaced a 25-year-old 18,000 square foot space.

Jeff and his wife Ramona are the parents of two grown daughters and have one grandson and spend their time involved in church and family activities.

Lisa Mead, CEO

Reno Orthopedic Clinic | Reno, NV

Lisa Mead has been in healthcare administration for 33 years and currently is the CEO of Reno Orthopedic Clinic, a group of 31 orthopedic specialists located in Reno Nevada. Reno Orthopedic Clinic is a privately-owned clinical enterprise that manages five physician owned clinical locations, an Ambulatory Surgery center, Physical and Occupational Therapy and an Imaging Center.

She has experience in academic medicine from serving as a CFO for the University of Nevada School of Medicine and in hospital administration as the Director for Neurological Services at a large regional medical center in Arkansas.

Mary Jane Pennington, MD, President & CEO

Granger Medical Clinic | West Valley City, UT

Dr. Pennington has served as the President of Granger Medical Clinic for over 20 years, playing an integral role in the clinic’s growth, and became CEO in 2019. She is also CEO of Physicians Accountable Care of Utah, the ACO developed by Granger Medical Clinic, in 2013. She joined Granger in 1992, practicing as a pediatrician until early 2020, in West Valley and Riverton.

Dr. Pennington spent most of her childhood in Alabama, then earned her BS from Duke University, and her MD from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis.

Dr. Pennington has loved leading Granger Medical these many years. She enjoys the opportunity  to work with many wonderful doctors and other team members, in an organization where the physicians lead the way and put the patients first.

JP Conklin, Founder & President

Pensford | Charlotte, NC

Formerly Head of West Coast Derivatives for Wachovia Bank, JP Conklin founded Pensford to help borrowers create hedging strategies that strike a balance between flexibility and cost. He is an interest rate observer, skilled in interest rate hedging, derivatives, valuation, and real estate economics. JP earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a father of five, a Philadelphia sports fan, a US Army veteran, and a private pilot.

mara Holton, MD, CEO

Anne Arundel Urology | Annapolis, MD

Dr. Holton graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in 2001. She received her surgical and urology training at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Urology and is licensed in the state of Maryland. She is clinically focused on the care of women’s urological and pelvic floor health and has served as the CEO of her group, Anne Arundel Urology, for the past 4 years. She is a Board member of LUGPA, a member of the American Urological Association and is the founder and director of the Women’s Wellness Center at Anne Arundel Urology.

Sergio Viroslav, MD, Managing Partner

The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group | San Antonio, TX

Dr. Sergio Viroslav has been practicing as an orthopedic surgeon for over 25 years with special interests in the management of hip, knee, and shoulder issues. Dr. Viroslav serves as Managing Partner of The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group (TSAOG) and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Baptist Health System’s Medical Executive Committee. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas and completed his residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Viroslav was named in SA Scene’s list of SA Doctors: Best of 2017 and was awarded the Vitals 2015 Patients’ Choice Award. He has been the general partner in the development of a 60,000 sq ft MOB with ASC and is currently developing a 100,000 sq ft MOB/ASC with TSAOG.
